Megson, a 26-year-old midfielder, came aboard the Soul after previously spending three years in the MISL. The Tacoma, Washington native previously played for the Syracuse Silver Knights (2011) and Chicago Riot (2009). While at Syracuse, Megson tallied nine goals, five assists, 23 points, and 11 blocks in 14 games. With the Riot, Megson received All-Rookie Team honors.

In 21 appearances with the Soul so far, Megson has totaled 22 points on seven 2-point goals, one 3-point goal, and five assists, while recording five blocks. Megson scored his first goal on November 2, 2012 against his former team, the Syracuse Silver Knights, finishing with a total of four points on the night. Megson had his season-high of seven points on February 22, 2013 against the Missouri Comets, recording a hat trick to lead the Soul to an impressive 13-2 victory.
